"Impertinent staff"

Having spent 40 minutes waiting for a repeat prescription today I asked the assistant if repeats were not made-up in advance. The reply I received was "We are very busy today, we are offering a free service and if you don't like it you are welcome to go else where". Not the response I would expect from anyone serving the public. What happened to the customer is always right. I appreciate they were busy but that is no excuse for downright rudeness!.
